Robert W. Dean, President and CEO
Bob joined ViaLogy in October, 2007. Previously, he held senior executive positions with SAIC, Boeing, Lockheed Martin and Ball Aerospace Corp. Bob also served in senior executive positions in the U.S. government at the State Department and at the White House as Special Assistant to the President during Ronald Reagan's presidency. He is a graduate of Brandeis University, Harvard University, and received his Ph.D. from the University of Denver.
Dr. Sandeep Gulati, VP/Product Development & CTO
At ViaLogy, he developed a novel sensor-agnostic, signal characterization technology, Quantum Resonance Interferometry ("QRI") to detect and quantify weak signals and events in high clutter and background noise. His current work focuses on development and commercialization of QuantumRD for reservoir characterization; and development of new workflow sequences for de-risking stratigraphic resource plays, optimal frac design and real-time monitoring and enhanced oil recovery. His activities have ranged from applying QRI for drug target discovery, mass spectrometry and subsurface synthetic aperture radar application for buried pipeline, utilities and object detection. At ViaLogy he also led the development of Sensor Policy Manager (SPM) for large scale network-centric integration of sensors over converged IP networks for applications in public safety, security and surveillance.
Prior to joining ViaLogy, Dr. Gulati headed the Ultracomputing Technologies Group at NASA's Jet Propulsion Lab in Pasadena, CA. During his 12 year tenure at JPL, he led computational advances in spacecraft autonomy, autonomous diagnostics and prognostics of complex systems, sensor fusion, neural networks, signal processing, command decision modeling and intelligence analysis. At JPL he was a Principal Scientist on a number of large programs of national relevance for NASA, DOD and other government agencies. He has consulted extensively with the financial services, entertainment, healthcare and aerospace firms.
Dr. Gulati has 14 issued US patents and over 100 publications in archival journals and conference proceedings.
Jeremy Healey, VP/Marketing, Sales and Operations
Jeremy joined in September, 2008. He leads the company's sales and marketing activities, and guides operations. He served in similar roles for a number of technology firms focused on software markets penetration, most recently PrismTech PLC where he was responsible for bringing that company from start-up status to global sales of over $20M in five years. Jeremy is a graduate of Providence College.
