Board of Directors

Mr. Terry Bond

Terry Bond, Executive Chairman

Prior to its merger with ViaLogy, Terry was managing director and deputy chairman of Original Investments (formerly BioProjects International), an investment company quoted on the Alternative Investment Market of the London Stock Exchange. In addition Terry is a director of Sector Investment Managers Ltd, the company that advises Junior Oils Unit Trust, an authorized unit trust in the UK.

After an early career in journalism, including spells with a number of UK national newspapers and the BBC, Terry headed an international public relations consultancy based in London. In the Eighties he was appointed sales and marketing director for Wimpey Leisure, the overseas property division of George Wimpey PLC, one of the UK’s largest housebuiders.

In 1993 Terry joined the board of ProShare (UK) Ltd, an organisation set up by the government and the stock exchange to encourage responsible share ownership, and was responsible for development of the investment club movement in the UK, and the establishing of 12,000 investment clubs. He was a member of the government’s Waterstone Committee which investigated and reported on the relationship between private investors and smaller quoted companies.

Terry is the author of the investment book, ‘The Company of Successful Investors’.


Dr. Robert W. Dean

Dr. Robert W. Dean, President and CEO

Robert Dean was Senior Vice President, Corporate Market Development, with Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC), which is the largest employee-owned research and engineering company in the United States. Previously he has held senior executive positions in the aerospace industry at Boeing, Lockheed martin, and Ball Aerospace Corporation. Bob also served in senior executive positions in the US Government at the Central Intelligence Agency, the State Department, and at the White House as Special Assistant to the President during Ronald Reagan's presidency. He is a graduate of Brandeis University, Harvard University, and received his Ph.D. from the University of Denver.


Dr. Sandeep Gulati

Dr. Sandeep Gulati, Co-founder,Chief Technical Officer and VP, Product Development

Prior to joining ViaLogy Dr. Gulati headed the Ultracomputing Technologies (UCT) Group at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Lab in Pasadena, CA. During his 12 year tenure at JPL, he led computational advances in spacecraft autonomy, autonomous diagnostics and prognostics of complex systems, sensor fusion, neural networks, signal processing, command decision modeling and intelligence analysis. At JPL he was a Principal Scientist on a number of programs of national relevance such as DOD's Joint Strike Fighter (JSF), NASA's Reusable Launch Vehicle (RLV), oil industry's DEEPLOOK Consortium, predictive intelligence capability for Army’s All-Source Analysis System, and subsurface imaging for cleanup of formerly used contaminated defense sites. He collaborated on strategic programs with Lockheed Martin, Boeing, Northrop Grumman, McDonnell Douglas, Rockwell, Pratt & Whitney, and NASA Centers (MSFC, GSFC, LeRC, LaRC, ARC, KSFC).

At ViaLogy, he developed a novel signal amplification computational technology, Quantum Resonance Interferometry (“QRI”) to detect and quantitate weak signals and events in high clutter and background noise. Vialogy is currently deploying QRI for life sciences applications in analysis of microarrays, mass spectrometry, next generation surveillance platforms and missile seekers. Dr. Gulati has over 13 issued patents, over 30 patents pending and over 100 publications in archival journals and conferencing proceedings. He has consulted extensively with the financial services, entertainment, aerospace and networking companies. Dr. Gulati holds an MBA from Pepperdine University, a B. Tech in Computer Science from Indian Institute of Technology, New Delhi, and a PhD in Computer Science from Louisiana State University.


Michael Kelly

Michael Kelly, Director and Chairman of Audit Committee

Michael Kelly previously served as ViaLogy’s president and CEO from April 2005 to April 2007. He returned to ViaLogy as interim president and CEO in July 2007. Prior to ViaLogy, Mr. Kelly was active for over twenty-five years in building, restructuring, and managing financial services and technology companies in the U.S., Europe, and China. Mr. Kelly’s experience includes co-founding First Ventury, a German venture capital firm where he remains a venture partner, CEO of American Express Bank GmbH in Frankfurt, negotiating the sale of a risk management company to Moodys, Inc., investment banking consulting for the Asian Development Bank in Beijing, USAID Chief of Party for Estonian privatization as a KPMG consultant, Director of Investment Banking at Bank of America, Director of Deutsche Bank in Berlin. Mr. Kelly currently serves on boards and consults for early stage network based technology companies. Mr. Kelly holds BA and MBA degrees from the University of Southern California.


George Rehm, Non-Executive Director

George Rehm has been a non-executive director of the ViaLogy Corp for the last three years, representing significant shareholder firstVentury Equity GmbH, a venture capital company of which he is now a managing director. He has been a practicing lawyer for over 30 years, and has experience in international licensing, technology transfer, investment and privatization transactions, involving the US, Europe and Asia. He has completed over thirty international technology transfer transactions, including deals for Nutrasweet, Applied Materials, Mc Donnell-Douglas, Monsanto, Spectra Physics, Dow Corning, Mitsubishi Heavy Metals, and Daewoo Electronics.

For eight years Mr. Rehm was partner in an international law practice focusing on privatization and investment transactions in Eastern Germany, the Czech Republic and the former USSR. He also served as counsel on foreign trade and European Investment to major US electronics industry associations and as an advisor to US presidential candidates on international trade and investment policy. Currently, Mr. Rehm is a managing director of the aeris Capital AG, a Swiss-based financial management company, advising the Tschira Family office in direct and alternative investments.


Mr. Peter Reynolds

Peter Reynolds, Non-Executive Director

Peter Reynolds has spent over thirty years as a director of a range of both public and private companies. Currently the director of a number of companies including Chairman of Eckoh Technologies PLC and a non-executive director of Silence Therapeutics PLC and Swallow Ventures Limited.
